The athletes were selected from the recently named Women’s National Team Junior Development Squad.

Several of the players are former or current VILFHA members including:

Lexi De Armond (Lynx 1, Island Wildcats)
Jenna Dhillon (Lynx 1, UVic Vikes)
Lindsay Cole (Lynx 1, UVic Vikes)
Sara Goodman (Flickers, Island Wildcats)
Asst. Coach – Krista Thompson (Lynx 1, UVic Vikes)

The Under 21 team will be playing matches on Feb. 12, 13, 15 and 16 in the unique, world-class and domed artificial water-based turf in Spooky Nook. This program is aimed at preparing the women for 2016 Junior World Cup qualification, which will be held late 2015/early 2016.

Throughout 2015, the juniors will continue to train with the direction from the National Program individually, at various training camps, and in competitions such as this one with the United States.
