Age: Grade 4 to 8 (9 to 13)
Location: Pemberton Woods Campus Turf
Cost: $175 +GST
Spaces: limited to 40 spots

The GNS Field Hockey Camp is for girls and boys between Grades 4 and 8 and is open to all skill levels. The emphasis is on having fun and introducing and developing a love for the sport of field hockey and daily physical activity. Activities will include physical literacy skills, skills specific to the sport of field hockey as well as mini games and friendly competitions. Field hockey is a fun and active sport with many transferrable skills to other field sports. Come on out and have some fun!

Refunds and Cancellations

All requests for refunds must be made in writing via email or letter (mailed or dropped off). Credit or cheque refunds, less a $25 administrative charge per camp, per child, will be issued for all camp cancellations up to TWO WEEKs (14 days) before the first day of the camp. There are NO REFUNDS within the TWO WEEK period before the first day of the camp. Pro-rating and refunds are NOT available for days absent, or for any other reasons including injuries or illness.

GNS reserves the right to cancel a camp due to insufficient enrolment or unavailability of instructors. If this situation arises, camps will be canceled by 3:30 P.M. one week before the start date and all fees for a cancelled camp will be refunded.

On behalf of the Tigers Field Hockey Club, we would like to invite you to join our Field Hockey skills camp starting Tuesday July 4th. We are looking to build on the success of last year with a few new things added. We have 8 sessions total this year, 2 more than last year!

This year the camp with take place on Tuesdays from 5:45 pm to 7 pm at the University of Victoria Water Based Field. Additional details are on the poster attached. If you require any gear (stick, shin pads, etc.) let us know. If you have a stick from last year, that will work just fine!

The 2017 Westerly Tournament is being hosted by the Cougars on the Sept. 9-10, 2017 at the Cowichan Sportsplex in Duncan.
This is an extra-special year for this tournament as it will be the first competitive games held on Duncan’s resurfaced water based turf surface. In addition to the field hockey on Saturday and Sunday there will be a social dinner on the Saturday evening with the customary games of skill (more details to come).

Summer Drop-in Field Hockey dates and times have been confirmed for Tuesdays and Thursdays this summer. See below:

SAILORS FHC SUMMER DROP IN
Dates: Tuesdays (July 4 – August 29)
Time: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $5.00 per player (must pay before playing)
Age: 14 and up

Everyone must have valid and active FHBC insurance.
Newcomers can try for 3 games without insurance, but must sign a waiver.

REBELS FHC SUMMER DROP IN
Dates: Thursdays, (June 29 – August 27)
Time : June 29th to July 13th – 8:00pm-9:00pm (due to turf booking conflict)
Time: July 20th to August 27th – 7:00pm-8:30pm
Cost: $5/session or $30 for the whole summer (10 sessions total)

All ages welcome, but kids under 12 should have a parent present. We will split up the players and field to allow for different games at different levels of play. FHBC registration is desired (and is a requirement for children/minors), but adults wishing to try the sport out can sign a waiver.
